Tell me again what Obama has done for gays? Besides make them wait?

The cynical response would be that he's shown gays that the Democrats care about their rights about as much as Republicans care about the rights of the unborn. Enough to talk about it, but not enough to actually do anything.
And I think the cynical response is probably about right.
