Nixonland

I'm reading Rick Perlstein's "Nixonland," about the origins of the culture wars during the 1960s. It's a lot more impressionistic than I expected. I also didn't expect sections to end like this:

There was something happening here. What it was wasn't exactly clear.


I'm not used to such goofiness in my history books, I admit. I'm not entirely sure how to take it.
